Overview

The VCM-CE1546BL hangs two panel brackets facing opposite directions from the same central pole, each rated to 50kg (100kg combined), so a single ceiling penetration serves two displays viewed from either side rather than one screen viewed from one side. Construction matches the rest of the CE1546 telescoping family: φ40×1.2mm and φ48×1.5mm round steel tube, 1.5mm bracket arms, and a 1.8mm VESA interface plate, with the pole extending 1090-1690mm.

Tilt on the back-to-back brackets runs +5° to -20°, a narrower and slightly upward-shifted range compared to the single-screen VCM-CE1546L’s 0° to -25°, because each bracket has to clear the opposing bracket’s hardware at the shared pole junction. Independent ±3° screen-level correction and the full 360° pole rotation carry over unchanged from the rest of the family.

Key Features

Where This Fits an AV Integration Project

The back-to-back layout fits corridors, open-plan trading floors, and gate areas or waiting rooms where foot traffic passes on both sides of the mount point, letting one ceiling penetration and one pole serve two audiences instead of running two separate mounts and two structural anchor points. It also suits retail and hospitality spaces splitting a single overhead position between two zones, such as a restaurant pass-through or a lobby with seating on both sides of a central column.

Because both brackets share one pole and one ceiling plate, the structural load calculation for the ceiling anchor only needs to account for a single mounting point rather than two, which simplifies the ceiling engineering review on projects where anchor points are limited or the structural ceiling has restrictions on penetration count.

Installation & Setup

The ceiling plate installs the same way as the rest of the CE1546 family, seated to a flat or pitched roof before the telescoping pole is set to a working height within its 1090-1690mm range. Each back-to-back bracket then mounts to its own side of the pole junction, and the +5° to -20° tilt and independent ±3° screen-level adjustment are set per bracket once both displays are hung. Given the 100kg combined weight class and single ceiling penetration carrying that full load, professional installation and a structural anchor review are recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from the side-by-side dual-screen model?

The VCM-CE1546BL mounts its two brackets facing opposite directions from one pole, for two displays viewed from either side, such as a corridor or corridor-like space. The side-by-side VCM-CE1546SL instead places both panels facing the same direction next to each other as one wide viewing surface. The two aren’t interchangeable.

Why is the tilt range different from the single-screen model?

Tilt runs +5° to -20° on the back-to-back brackets, versus 0° to -25° on the single-screen VCM-CE1546L, because each bracket has to clear the opposing bracket’s hardware at the shared pole junction. The narrower, upward-shifted range is a physical clearance constraint, not a weaker adjustment mechanism.

Is the 50kg rating per screen or combined?

Per screen. Each of the two back-to-back brackets is rated to 50kg, for a 100kg combined total carried through the single shared pole and ceiling plate. Confirm each individual display’s weight against the 50kg per-bracket figure, and flag the 100kg combined figure to whoever reviews the ceiling anchor.

Does one ceiling penetration really carry both screens?

Yes, both back-to-back brackets share a single pole and ceiling plate, so only one structural anchor point carries the full 100kg combined load. This simplifies the ceiling engineering review compared to running two separate mounts, but it also means that one anchor point needs to be rated for the full combined weight.

Can the two screens be adjusted independently?

Yes, each bracket has its own +5° to -20° tilt travel and independent ±3° screen-level correction, so the two displays can be angled differently to suit each side’s audience. Only the 360° pole rotation is shared, moving both back-to-back screens together as a unit.

What’s the safety margin on the 50kg per-screen rating?

Each bracket is strength-tested to four times its rated 50kg capacity before that figure ships on the spec sheet, the same testing standard used across the CE1546 telescoping pole family. That multiple is validated in production testing, not estimated from the steel gauge or pipe diameter alone.
