Overview

The VCM-CE1546L runs on a two-stage telescoping pole built from φ40×1.2mm and φ48×1.5mm round steel tubing, with the panel bracket cut from 1.5mm cold-rolled steel and the VESA interface plate at 1.8mm, backed by a 2.5mm pickling-sheet ceiling plate. The pole extends 1090-1690mm to match different ceiling heights, and every unit is validated to four times its 60kg rated capacity before that figure ships on the spec sheet.

Rotation is a full 360° (+180° to -180°) around the pole axis, tilt runs 0° to -25°, and a separate +3°/-3° screen-level adjustment corrects for a ceiling plate that wasn’t installed perfectly level, without needing to loosen the main pole mount to fix it.

Key Features

Where This Fits an AV Integration Project

The telescoping range and 360° rotation put the VCM-CE1546L in spaces where a wall isn’t available or isn’t the right viewing position: broadcast and control-room studios needing a display suspended over a desk bank, transit-hub and terminal signage hung above a concourse, and boardroom or conference-center installs where the table sits in the center of the room rather than against a wall.

The adjustable ceiling plate covers both flat and pitched-roof structural ceilings, which matters in retrofit projects where the original roof pitch wasn’t specified for AV, and the internal cable routing through the pole keeps power and signal cable out of view in a room with no dropped ceiling to hide it in.

Installation & Setup

The ceiling plate bolts to the structural ceiling first, using the plate’s built-in adjustment to seat flush on either a flat or pitched roof before the pole is attached. The two-stage telescoping pole is then set to the working height within its 1090-1690mm range and the panel bracket engaged at the base. The independent ±3° screen-level adjustment is used last, after the display is hung, to correct for any small deviation in how level the ceiling plate itself was installed. Given the weight class and ceiling anchor requirements, professional installation is recommended and available UAE-wide on request.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the actual telescoping height range on this mount?

The two-stage pole extends from 1090mm to 1690mm (42.9″ to 66.5″), measured from the ceiling plate to the panel bracket. Confirm this range against the target ceiling height and desired viewing height before ordering, since the pole doesn’t extend beyond this figure without a different SKU.

How much rotation does the pole allow?

A full 360° of rotation, expressed as +180° to -180° around the pole axis, independent of the 0° to -25° tilt adjustment on the panel bracket. This lets the display face any direction in the room without repositioning the ceiling plate itself, useful when seating or traffic patterns change after install.

Can this mount handle a sloped or pitched ceiling?

Yes, the ceiling plate is adjustable to seat flush against either a flat or pitched roof structure, not just a level ceiling. This matters most in retrofit projects where the original roof wasn’t built with AV in mind. Confirm the specific pitch angle against the plate’s adjustment range before installation.

What’s the real safety margin on the 60kg rating?

The VCM-CE1546L is strength-tested to four times its rated capacity, 240kg, before the 60kg commercial figure is approved for the spec sheet. That multiple is the actual safety margin, validated in production testing rather than estimated from the steel gauge or pipe diameter alone.

What VESA hole patterns does this mount support?

Coverage runs from 200x200mm up to a 610x402mm maximum hole spread, across seven patterns including 300x200mm, 400x200mm, 300x300mm, 400x300mm, 400x400mm, and 600x400mm. Confirm the exact VESA pattern on the target display’s rear panel before ordering, since not every 43-86 inch display uses the maximum spread.

Is cable management built into the pole?

Yes, power and signal cable route internally through the telescoping pole rather than along the outside, keeping the installation clean in rooms without a dropped ceiling to conceal cable runs. This is standard on the VCM-CE1546L, not an add-on accessory or optional kit.

Does this mount work with curved TVs?

Yes, the detachable panel bracket is rated for curved displays within the same 43-86 inch screen size and 60kg weight limits as flat panels, with no separate curved-panel SKU required. Confirm the display’s actual VESA pattern still falls within the 610x402mm maximum hole spread before ordering.
